1. Bus (about 4 hours)
a. Take U-bus to Zhongli Service Area and transfer to Chiayi (TRA Chiayi station).
b. Take Kuo-Kuang to Chaoma, Taichung, and transfer to Chiayi (TRA Chiayi station).
2. TRA (Taiwan Railway) (Tze-Chiang, about 3 hours; Chu-Kuang or local train, 4-4.5 hours)
a. Take Taoyuan Airport MRT to TRA Taoyuan station, then take TRA to Chiayi (Downtown).
3. THSR (Taiwan High Speed Rail) (about 3 hours)
a. Take Taoyuan Airport MRT to THSR Taoyuan station, then take THSR to Chiayi, and then take a shuttle bus to downtown.
Kaohsiung Airport to Chiayi City
★Take a bus to Kaohsiung Train Station. The trip is 20 minutes. Then, take a train from Kaohsiung Train Station to Chiayi. This trip is between two to three hours.
1. TRA (about 2 hours)
a. Take MRT to TRA Kaohsiung station or Zuoying, then take TRA to Chiayi (Downtown).
2. THSR (about 2.5 hours)
a. Take MRT to Zuoying, then take THSR to Chiayi, and then take a shuttle bus to downtown.
